Mousse au Chocolat

Wow, tonight I made the most awesome Mousse au Chocolat (with the help of my fabulous hubby!). If you want to find out how to make this, make sure you join one of my classes with the Murrieta Valley Unified Adult Education in the 2012-2013 school year. It is pretty simple to make, but it doesn't taste like it at all......it tastes like you slaved in a hot kitchen all night! See you soon! Chef Zees! chefzees@yahoo.com

New Recipe - Chinese at it's best!

Bought some turkey breast pieces at the store and decided to put it to good use with a new recipe. Made up my own recipe tonight for some turkey breast pieces - wow what a great treat it turned out to be. I marinated the turkey with a little soy sauce, garlic, and a tiny bit of chili oil, then covered it all with a little corn starch and let it rest in the fridge. Made a sauce out of soy sauce, sherry, honey and just a touch of hot chili paste and set it aside. Cut up half an onion, 2 carrots and 3 stalks of celery and cooked it in the wok with a little oil. Took the veggies out, added a little more oil and cooked the turkey. Once it was done, I added the sauce and cooked for about 30 seconds, added the veggies and served it over jasmine rice. Give it a try!! TIP: Always cut the veggies on the diagonal, because they cook faster!!! Stay tuned for more recipes and information about upcoming classes!!
